Cea de-a 89-a gală de decernare a premiilor Oscar a avut loc, luni (27 februarie) dimineață, la Dolby Theatre din Los Angeles și a fost prezentată de Jimmy Kimmel.
Ceremonia a fost marcata pe final de o gafa uriasa. Celebrul actor Warren Beatty a anuntat eronat drept castigator al categoriei cel mai bun film „La La Land”. Toti cei implicati in productie (regizor, actori) au urcat pe scena si s-au bucurat. Dupa minute bune, s-a aflat ca s-a facut o greseala si, de fapt, a castigat pelicula „Moonlight„.
